Keep it respectful
Do not post harassment, threats, hateful content, sexual exploitation, scams, spam or instructions encouraging self-harm. Do not impersonate another person or publish their personal information without permission.
Share responsibly
Share only content you have the right to share. Wall posts and replies are visible to others, and notes are shared with strangers. Other members may respond differently from what you expect. Do not use community advice as a substitute for professional care.
Reports and content controls
Use the report control when content concerns you. A report is not an emergency alert and does not guarantee an immediate response. Automated content checks can miss harmful material or flag acceptable posts.
No emergency response
HelloStranger is not a medical, counselling or crisis-response service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call local emergency services. For emotional support, find a helpline.
Respect the service
Do not attempt to access someone else's account, manipulate activity counts, evade content controls or disrupt the platform. Use the community to connect, not to exploit other members.
