Be kind. Be yourself. Be thoughtful about what you share.
Anonymous does not mean untraceable
Using an anonymous name hides your name from other community members. Do not treat it as a guarantee that your activity cannot be associated with your device or account.
Public posts and shared notes
The global wall is public. A local wall is a country filter, not a private group. Other people can read or copy your posts and replies. Notes are delivered to strangers. Avoid sharing addresses, phone numbers, passwords, financial information or details that identify someone without permission.
Your choices
You can use HelloStranger without signing in. When signed in, you can choose whether to show your name on a wall post or reply. You can remove your own wall posts using the delete control and report content from other members.
Device and account information
Your journey can be associated with this device, or linked to your account when you sign in. Clearing browser storage can break access to an anonymous journey; it is not the same as requesting deletion of information held by the service.
External services
If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, or open an external helpline, that service's own terms and privacy information also apply. Review them before sharing information there.
